Meet Diane
Diane is a former military brat, and the daughter of first generation Italian immigrants. Her father spent his first career proudly serving in our nation’s armed forces. Service has always meant a great deal to Diane and to her family.
For the past ten years, Diane has worked as Managing Director for the Ellison Ballet Foundation where she oversees a multimillion dollar annual budget. She’s collaborated with the legendary Ray Charles, graduated from the New England Conservatory of Music, performed at Carnegie Hall, and won an Emmy.
But her greatest accomplishment to date has been being a mother.
As a working single parent, Diane has witnessed up close the crime, grime, and rising costs creep their way back into our every day lives. That’s not the New York she fell in love with, and it’s not the New York she wants her daughter or granddaughters growing up in.
We need new leaders who can restore public safety, improve public education, and make life here more affordable for every New Yorker.
Too many people today see the American Dream as something that’s beyond their reach. But Diane is running to let every student, every senior, every hard working family, every neighbor we have who’s just one or two paychecks away from going under know that they will always have an advocate at City Hall.
Someone who will always fight for them and with them every single day.
Together, with your support, we can help our neighborhood hope again, and bring about the change our community so desperately needs.
